Dental Implants in Dianella
Dental implants are a revolutionary and increasingly popular form of restoration for missing teeth. They remain the most secure and reliable way to replace lost teeth, as they fuse directly with the jawbone. As a result, they provide a strong anchor for individual or complete arch replacements. Even patients in their 90s are using them to make their dentures more stable.

Getting Started
This procedure is not suitable for everyone, so the process begins with an in-depth medical and physical consultation with our dentist. After the assessment is complete, eligible candidates will be sent for a 3-D scan to measure the quantity and quality of the bone.
What To Expect
Implants are made from titanium, a strong and biocompatible metal, so the body does not reject it. This allows it to become integrated with existing bone tissue. Once in place, it acts as a stable foundation for the replacement tooth and allows you to bite, chew and speak normally.
The implant procedure involves a small titanium cylinder being inserted directly into the jawbone. After about three months, the area around the implant heals, and the bone tissue begins to form an integrated bond with the implant. Once this happens, another part of the implant is placed onto it, known as an abutment. This acts as a connector between the implant and the crown, which can now be attached.
