Checkup and Cleans in Dianella
Dental checkup and cleans are important components of preventative dental care. Regular visits to the dentist help ensure that minor oral health problems don’t become major ones. Checkups allow us to catch problems early and prevent costly treatments down the line.

What To Expect
During a dental checkup, the dentist will examine your mouth for any signs of decay or infection. After that, we’ll remove plaque and tartar from your teeth. Our goal is to help prevent cavities and gum disease. If required, we may also apply a fluoride treatment. Finally, we polish your teeth for a smooth finish.
Our Airflow technology provides a gentle experience of cleaning by using a high-pressure combination of water, air, and fine cleaning powder—without any scraping. The Airflow gives superior results and a comfortable cleaning, making it perfect for anyone with sensitive teeth or anxiety about visiting the dentist.
If we need to remove wisdom teeth or plan for implants, we have a CBCT scanner which is advanced technology that provides a detailed 3D image of your teeth, without inserting any uncomfortable films into your mouth.
Sedation Care
If you haven’t been to the clinic in a long time, your teeth may be too sensitive to complete the cleaning in one day. We will either schedule multiple sessions with a general anaesthetic, or you may choose to be sedated.
Some patients prefer to be sedated for cleaning as well as other procedures, including crowns, implants, and wisdom teeth extractions. We offer sedation options upon request. Our anaesthetists will go over the details with you to decide on the appropriate course of action. Recovery is generally within 24 hours.
